Leader: /ˈlēdər/ (n) someone who acts as a visionary to others and encompasses the necessary skills to direct their team in the right direction.

Ask any of our BCBAs about their favorite ABC memory, and you’re likely to hear a plethora of moments from our 2021 BCBA Summit.

This year, we’ve opened up our annual summit to include all people leaders - in an effort to top last year’s magical event and celebrate both clinical and operational excellence.

Looking back on 2022, our organization has achieved numerous milestones, opened doors to new regions, weathered a pandemic, helped countless families achieve great things, and celebrated one another for living our mission and values.

We understand each person is valuable in their roles inside and outside of ABC. We believe that the difference between thriving and surviving lies in the ability of each teammate to bring their whole self to work. Our goal at ABC is to give teammates a transformational experience, where they become self-actualized as both clinicians, and as the incredible, multi-faceted human beings that they are.

This mantra guided the choice in selecting this year’s theme of “Together, We Grow”

From growing our emotional intelligence to refining the art of getting and giving feedback, we will spend intentional time focused on growth for ourselves, growth for our teams and growth for our patients and families

From September 23rd - 25th, ABC leaders will grow together in Houston, Texas. We promise it will be filled with lots of pomp & circumstance, speeches from like-minded leaders, countless opportunities for bonding and connection, and of course - photos and video to cherish forever.

We’ve scheduled a culmination of empowering leaders in the clinical, operational, and managerial fields - including Dr. Charna Mintz, Tracy Raulston, Chris Johnson, and Hannah Azhang - in effort to create an impact that extends well beyond the weekend of our Leadership Summit.

Friday kicks off with a cocktail hour and ends with “All-Star Reception”: a pinning ceremony, recognizing those clinicians and operators who provided consistent levels of quality treatment, and who most impacted our patients' growth! Saturday will feature a hearty breakfast, followed by seminars on Growth for Yourself, Impactful Stories, Growth for Your Team, and Growth for Our Patients. We’ve baked in mealtime, games, and breakout groups in between these impactful sessions to allow space for connection and rest.

We can’t wait to share our favorite moments with you soon.
