Action Behavior Centers is proud to announce the inaugural ABCaba. ABCaba is our first-ever clinical conference designed exclusively for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Clinical Directors. In Austin, TX, on May 3rd & 4th, this groundbreaking clinical conference is poised to revolutionize the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABCaba, an initiative in collaboration with the Global Autism Project, promises a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from the best clinical minds in the field while advocating with the Global Autism Project for enhanced ABA services globally. This year's conference is a convergence of minds committed to staying ahead of our science while paving the way for individuals with autism, creating meaningful futures together.
The conference agenda boasts a rich tapestry of mentor stories and interactive Q&A sessions. One of the most remarkable aspects of ABCaba will be the TedTalk sessions with its stellar lineup of keynote speakers. Renowned ABA experts such as Dr. Tyra Sellers, Dr. Nasiah Cirincione-Ulezi, Dr. Shahla Alai-Rosales, Dr. Linda LeBlanc, Dr. Patrick Friman, Dr. Gregory Hanley, and Dr. Mark Dixon will grace the stage, sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience. Additionally, attendees will have the privilege of hearing from Dr. Amy Cuddy, author of the NY Times bestseller "Presence," offering insights into personal empowerment and confidence, as well as Dr. Angela Duckworth, author of the NY Times bestseller "Grit," exploring a unique perspective on the power of passion and perseverance in achieving success.
Each speaker was intentionally and craftily selected to bring attendees to new heights in their clinical and leadership careers. But ABCaba is not just centered around intellectual discourse. We’re geared toward making a tangible difference in the field and for each we serve. All proceeds from the conference will be donated to The Global Autism Project, supporting their mission to expand ABA services in underserved communities worldwide. In addition to this financial contribution, the conference will feature an in-person community service event, demonstrating ABCaba's commitment to social responsibility.
With ABCaba, Action Behavior Centers recognizes the pivotal role of mentors in shaping the future of BCBA clinicians. A special night of honor will be dedicated to acknowledging these mentors and mentees. Due to their dedication and immeasurable impacts, our organization has grown to serve and witness thousands of milestones for children in the community. We hope this night will serve as a celebration of their clinical impact on the next generation of ABA therapists.
The inclusivity of ABCaba extends beyond its core Action Behavior Centers’ teammates. External BCBA clinicians who share a passion for advancing ABA services are invited to join this transformative experience. Whether you're a seasoned behavioral analyst or an aspiring clinician, ABCaba welcomes you to be part of the action.
